picnics under the treeclouds

Exhibited at Patriothall, Edinburgh 2017

Group exhibition with Art Space and Nature MA

Summary

The branches above us interlude and entwine with each other. TreeClouds form a layer in the sky, sheltering us and shading us from what is beyond the heights of the tallest tree. We reminisce the picnic and the conversations we once had under those TreeClouds in the highlands.

Picnics Under The TreeClouds was first shown at Partriothall public Gallery as a sound installation although stands firmly as a sculptural installation itself. The exhibition named '..No Better Than Its Woods'; the end line of W. H. Auden's poem Gospel of the Trees, featured other students on the Art Space and Nature (MA) program that Teddy is currently undertaking.
