TEDDY HUNTER

NARRATIVE SPACE
(2014)

Summary

Narrative Space is an installation that was conceptualised and constructed whilst Teddy spent time in Toronto, Canada. Studying at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto, Teddy was able to work more on installation and film work. The installation itself is about how, as humans, we say things but we don't tend to mean a lot of things we say; how humans can hide behind words that shut away what they are really thinking. The idea was to use to screens where the subject is in turn looking on at herself and telling herself what she really means as she has a conversation with the viewer. These words are in subtitles as we cannot hear each others thoughts.

Several projects were started up as a result of working internationally. The installation Light Drawing was also an international project.
