NOCTILUCENCE OF FESTIVAL
(AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLATION 2016)
'Noctilucence of Festival' (2016) is an audio-visual project that is a response to the night-time walking experiences, the music, the lights, and the people of festivals.
The project will be developed further with the experimentation of photography, filming at more festivals that will be accompanied by a written audio response.
The project is split into several parts; film, sound, installation and photography. Because of the nature of the project, below you will find the final film thus far and then some information about each of the festivals.

This is a photographic response to Brainchild Festival (2016) where Teddy was commissioned to film for BCTV.
'Noctilucent' is a visual response to my experiences of walking around at night time whilst filming for Brainchild Festival. This experimental photography piece was shortlisted in the National Open Art competition 2016 as well as being put forward in the NOA World Vote and can also be found on the NOA online gallery for shortlisted works. http://www.nationalopenart.org/gallery.php?sf=1&2016-GALLERY-2-6 |
Installation
The installation set up is very adaptable for different spaces. When presented at the Edinburgh College of Art degree show, it was a three screen installation with back projected sheets. At Knee Deep Festival, it was also a 3 screen back projected setup but with the potential for a 4th screen to be added in future setups. |
